Set the Turbonomic IP Address on OpenSUSE Appliance

***This document is only relevant for customers running the OpenSUSE instance of Turbonomic. If you are running a CentOS instance, SSH into the appliance and type the command ipsetup to configure the IP.***

 

For OpenSUSE:

One of the first things we need to do when setting up the Turbonomic instance is to set the IP Address (unless you're using a dynamic IP). We recommend configuring this through YaST.

 

The short story is that all you need to do is login to the Turbonomic appliance (root/vmturbo by default) and run the "yast network" command. Once in you can tab through the prompts for IP Address, Netmask, Gateway, and DNS. For a detailed setup instructions you can use the configuration doc attached.
