Creating Custom Charts in the New UI

Similar to the current interface, the new user interface allows Turbonomic customers to customize each scoped view by adding or reconfiguring new charts.


Here is a step by step guide to adding custom charts to a view. 


1. Pick your scoped view. This can be either the Global Environment view, which is the default upon login, or scope to a subset of the environment through search. 



2. Hover over the three dots on the right had side above and below each chart to select Add Chart. This will create a new chart at this location in the scoped view. (See red arrows in screenshot below)



3. Configure the chart. Select the options that you would like to display within the chart. You can pick the type, what you are comparing, what the type of chart to display (line, stacked bar, tabular), the timeframe and any additional options. 



4. Your new chart has been added! You can click on the gear icon in the upper right to delete this chart or reconfigure its settings. This chart will now be available anytime you click on this particular scope.
