The following instructions assume that the version of OpenStack being used is the RDO packages which has the python executable's in the following location -/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages

This location can vary based on the OpenStack package being deployed.

The Turbonomic Scheduler can be downloaded from the following GitHub location for Mitaka and Newton

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/turbonomic/nova/stable/mitaka/nova/scheduler/turbonomic_scheduler.py

The installation is self documented in the scheduler file. There are certain entries that are to be required to be done in the nova.conf file to configure the Turbonomic Scheduler. The Turbonomic appliance address, OpenStack address, username, password, region, protocol, timeout and a flag to use ssl are parameters that can be configured in the nova.conf. Some of these are optional.

Note: For older versions of the scheduler please contact Turbonomic Support.
