I know! I know! But I'm *required* to ask it anyways.
Our Audit Committee is asking about any possible exposure and any remediation plans that are identified regarding this "leap second" bug.
Hi email@example.com The leap second will not affect VMTurbo. Most programs won't even notice. The Unix representation of a seconds field allows it to be 60 or 61 to account for leap seconds. It's possible there could be programs that assume the seconds field is at most 59, but we certainly don't and it seems unlikely anything in Java does. Regarding data in the DB, we only store hourly, so no affect there either.
Thanks Eva! I really didn't think we had an issue, but i had to ask.
