might be interesting for environments which do not immediately patch.

a Report like: Workload after vSphere Host patching


One important memory setting that has been changed in ESXi recently.

VMware changed the inter-Virtual Machine Transparent Page Sharing.

VMware KB: Security considerations and disallowing inter-Virtual Machine Transparent Page Sharing

I have been contacted by my colleagues about higher memory utilization of ESXi hosts after patching of VMware environment.


A Report for currently over-provisioning resources could be helpfull to review and re-evaluate the usage and consider adding resources to the vSphere Cluster or re-sizing your VMs.


I have no idea to create such a report by self.
