Hi eva.tuczai

might be interesting for environments which do not immediately patch.

a Report like: Workload after vSphere Host patching

One important memory setting that has been changed in ESXi recently.

VMware changed the inter-Virtual Machine Transparent Page Sharing.

VMware KB: Security considerations and disallowing inter-Virtual Machine Transparent Page Sharing

I have been contacted by my colleagues about higher memory utilization of ESXi hosts after patching of VMware environment.

A Report for currently over-provisioning resources could be helpfull to review and re-evaluate the usage and consider adding resources to the vSphere Cluster or re-sizing your VMs.

I have no idea to create such a report by self.

some other info:

VMware KB: Transparent Page Sharing (TPS) in hardware MMU systems

VMware KB: Additional Transparent Page Sharing management capabilities in ESXi 5.5, 5.1, and 5.0 patches in Q4, 2014

regards
