Anyone know how to monitor or any product that can show Linux virtual ram disk utilization's?
We have several large SAS vm's that are using virtual ram disks and we are having difficulty finding information about it's utilization.
If the Linux machine has snmp enabled and open to Turbo's IP, we can snmpwalk the community, look for different application signatures, to get OS processes usage, including (I believe) RAM disks, assuming you know what they'd show up under top.
Let me clarify a little...Is it possible to see ram disk utilizations within VirtualCenter or VMTurbo or some other product?
I've never used one before. Does it show up as just another drive within the OS (like an R:// drive)? If so you should be able to see current utilization under the VM inventory in VMTurbo or in vCenter
