I would like to understand from people that have fully automated with automation how they handle bad code that will drive a server to constantly ask for more CPU or MEMORY and never stop. This is a concern I have that has stopped me from automating a large number of servers. I have automated my VDI environment with groups and have defined groups to say when you hit this memory amount or this CPU amount set the automation to manual. This seems to work well but across multiple platforms it is not realistic. I have 84 hosts and 2800 virtual servers scattered across those hosts so narrowing the scope as I did with VDI is not an option. Thoughts?
