New to Turbonomics, so I'm just setting up some policies. I have two Exchange servers that I want to keep on separate hosts. Is there a simple way to do this? Thanks.
Thanks so much for reaching out. There are two things you can do: create an anti-affinity rule in vCenter which Turbo which import and comply with, or you could create the same policy in Turbonomic!
To create anti-affinity policy in Turbo:
First, create a group for the exchange server.
Click 'Policy' > Group Management - to set up group for exchange then
Second, create placement policy.
Click 'Policy' > Workload Placement > select green +
To set a placement policy locking consumer group (exchange servers to cluster they live on. Then check the box "Limit the number of workload entities per placement entity to 1." This will ensure that the exchange boxes never reside on the same host together. (referance pic below)
Please reach out with any additional questions.

Thanks, I did the placement policy and it seems to be working the way I wanted. Great!
Glad to hear it! Don't hesitate to reach out with more questions.
