Is there support Fro Hyper-v 2016 yet? I keep getting a SELECT error?
Sorry, I forgot to update this thread but good news, yes, it has now been released as part of the v6.0 update. The link for the offline update is below, I would recommend this for customers/prospects who need specific v6.0 features (like Hyper-V 2016) but for others I would recommend staying with the latest release of the v5.9 train.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but just so you don't waste your time testing, I wanted to let you know that we don't currently have support for Hyper-V 2016 in Turbo. On a more positive note, we are aware of customers who need it and we have started development for it but unfortunately, there are some significant differences and so at this point, we don't have a nailed up date/release for that support.
Sorry for the delay.
Bummer. I ll just have to wait then.
Just wondered on any update on the support for Hyper-V on Server 2016?
Sorry for the delay but we have just had our kickoff event for the year and support for Hyper-V 2016 is listed against the Q2 release, which should be around the end of July.
Is there any update on Hyper-V 2016 support?
I will get working next week then on the testing of ver 6.0 with our 2016 Cluster.
No worries Giles, test away, although probably best to run a parallel instance temporarily while you play so as not to affect production. Please log any issues you may see with support.
We are in the process of moving from VMware to Hyper-V & part of our infrastructure is Server 2016 Core & the version of SCVMM we will be using is System Center 2016 - Virtual Machine Manager, so the need for 2016 is growing more urgent as time goes by.
Hi Steve, Likewise with my infrastructure. Just moved from 3 standalone W21012R2 Hyper-v hosts to a 5 node W2016 Cluster with VMM (2012R2 as we are using an older version of TFS). Ver 6 release??
We have a mixed infrastructure, some host are 2016 others are 2012R2 due to legacy hardware, ie IBM 3650 M3's & M4's. We weren't able to refresh our hardware, so we used what we had. So at the moment our Turbo is only monitoring half our infrastructure.
