Turbonomic Top 10 Features: Projected Improvements Chart

The Projected Improvements chart, found in the Assure Service Performance dashboard, shows you the current state of your environment and what it will look like after you take the recommended actions from the to do list.

Specifically, the blue bars represent the current state, while the green line shows expected improvements from implementing the actions. Using your mouse, hover over a data point to see details on current and desired utilization for each entity.

This view automatically shows projected improvements by host and Utilization Index (UI) for your whole environment, however there are several options for customization:

Using the drop-down menu at the top of the chart, you can also view the projected improvement charts for any of the resources consumed by hosts, storage, and virtual machine entities in your environment; note that changing an entity in the first menu will affect the options you can select in the second.

With the final arrow button next to the second drop down menu, you can also toggle between showing the top 30 projected improvements for the designated entities and resources, or the bottom 30.

To change the name of the chart or select a different scope, click on the gear icon in the top right-hand corner.
